Real Estate in Morrison

Homes here range from renovated bungalows and original two-storey homes to newly built custom mansions and gated lakefront estates, some priced well past $10 million. Even with that prestige, buyers stay selective. Morrison homes averaged 45 days on market in 2025 with a 95 percent sale-to-list ratio, both slightly softer than the Oakville detached average, so pricing still needs to be right.

Parks, Trails, and Green Space

Morrison is one of Oakville's greenest addresses, with mature trees and parkland throughout.

Lawson Park offers a playground and tennis courts. Albion Park, Kings Woods Park, and the Municipal Greenhouses round out the neighbourhood's green space, and Wedgewood Park's outdoor pool is open each summer from June through September.

The Edgemere Promenade follows the Lake Ontario shoreline, giving you a quiet path for walking, jogging, or simply taking in the view.

Commuting to Toronto

Morrison offers quick access to the QEW and 403, putting downtown Toronto about 30 to 45 minutes away by car, longer during rush hour.

By transit, Oakville GO offers an express train during peak hours that skips several stops past Clarkson, shaving time off the trip to Union Station. The all-stops train takes about 42 minutes.

Gairloch Gardens and the Gold Coast

Gairloch Gardens sits on the shore of Lake Ontario, a former private estate willed to the town by James Gairdner. The name comes from the Gaelic for "short lake," borrowed from a village in Scotland. Today the main house holds the Oakville Galleries, showing contemporary art across more than 10 acres of gardens, ponds, and shoreline paths.

South along Lakeshore Road East, the lakefront stretch known as the Gold Coast is where Morrison's reputation is built. Gated estates and custom-built mansions line the water, some priced well past $10 million, on some of the largest and most private lots in the GTA.

ROSHAN'S RECOMMENDATION

If land, privacy, and long-term prestige matter more to you than square footage alone, Morrison is worth a serious look.
